If there is one thing that Squidward Tentacles hates, it's his life. From working at the Krusty Krab to his annoying neighbors, it's enough to drive someone insane... and today, he's finally snapped. Getting an AK-47, Squidward shoots up the Krusty Krab before continuing his rampage.
Sinister Squidward
is a horror/black comedy game developed by Rinbash in which you play as Sandy Cheeks, who's on a mission to save her friends from Squidward's wrath.
It has been unfortunately removed from Itch.io due to copyright claim, but can still be found through backups online.
The game provides examples of:
- Adaptational Villainy: Squidward Tentacles becomes a malicious mass-shooter who kidnaps and tortures SpongeBob and Patrick.
- Adaptational Wimp: In canon, Sandy could easily take down Squidward in a fight. Here, she goes down to a single stab whenever he catches her.
- And Now for Someone Completely Different: For the first part of the game, you play as Squidward when his murder spree starts. After the intro, you then play as Sandy going to rescue Spongebob and Patrick.
- Antagonist Title: Squidward is the main antagonist of the game.
- Bad People Abuse Animals: Squidward mutilates Gary's shell.
- Bait-and-Switch: At the end of the game, Squidward corners Sandy and Spongebob and threateningly pulls his clarinet out while declaring that this will be the last time SpongeBob ruins his plans... before immediately stabbing and killing himself with it.Squidward: "It's time for me to die."
- Black Comedy: All over the place. For example, Squidward's idea of a Pre-Asskicking One-Liner for Sandy is "Sandy Cheeks! I'm coming to clap those cheeks!"
- Cold-Blooded Torture: Squidward keeps Spongebob and Patrick hostage in Spongebob's own house and threatens to murder them if anyone interferes. While there, he places Patrick under a buzzsaw to give him a (second) circumcision, and puts Spongebob in a machine that threatens to stretch him in half.
- Crawl: The news segment has three, in this order:Bikini Bottom police ban Patrick from school zones for urinating near a kindergarten.Spongebob kills 3 during his driving test, "And I will do it again, bitch" -Spongebob
- Driven to Suicide: After Sandy manages to save Spongebob, Squidward shows up and, after seeing his plans were foiled, kills himself.
- Improvised Weapon: Squidward uses his clarinet to attack Sandy, and uses it to kill himself at the end.
- Noodle Incident: After being saved from the buzzsaw, Patrick says that he got circumcised again. The first time is never mentioned.
- Skewed Priorities: Mr. Krabs is more terrified at the idea of Squidward taking all his money than he is at the idea of Squidward killing him.
- Would Hit a Girl: Due to his state of mind, Squidward has no problem adding Sandy to his murder spree.
- Would Hurt a Child: A child is one of the eight victims of Squidward's shooting spree.
