Shatterbrain is a Puzzle Game for smartphones by Orbital Nine released in 2018. In it, you can draw dots, lines, or whatever is necessary to shatter all destructible shapes within the level. By drawing as few things as possible, you earn stars that give the ability to play more level sets. However, each shape's color is different and some levels don't let you draw in specific areas, which leads to thinking outside to box.

This game provides examples of:

  • Anti-Frustration Features: If you can't earn all stars within each level in a level set to advance to the next one, you can watch an ad to advance with slightly lowered requirements.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: A shape's color indicates what it does when touched. Blue ones are normal, yellow ones are floaty, red ones are volatile, black ones are harmful and reset the level when touched, etc.
  • Freemium: The game is free, but you can pay a small sum to permanently unlock all levels and hints and turn off ads.
  • Hint System: You can watch an ad to get a hint on how to beat a level.
  • Interactive Start Up: You can draw things on the title screen. The letters in the title and play button behave just like shapes with their colors would in the normal game.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: There's no plot in the game or its puzzles whatsoever.
  • Scoring Points: You earn points depending on how fast you beat a level. They don't matter when it comes to getting stars or anything.
