Ami and Yumi: Kaz, we so needed this vacation! This island was a great idea!
Kaz: Vacation? Oh yes, yes, a vacation! You know, rumor has it that this island is loaded with treasure!
Ami and Yumi: Treasure?!
Kaz: Yes! Fabulous, wonderous, marvelous treasure! So run along, have a good time, and don't forget to bring back all the treasure. Just be very careful, girls! Read the caution signs, and look out for the pirate horde.
Ami and Yumi: What was that about pirates?
Kaz: Oh no, nothing! Now hurry along! Time is money, you know!

Puffy Treasure Island is a 2005 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi-themed Web Game that runs on Flash, formerly hosted on Cartoon Network's official website.

Taking a break from touring, Ami and Yumi are vacationing on a tropical island, and Kaz has sent them out to find all the treasure buried there. Collect all the coins and diamonds, and pick up items that will help you get past enemies standing in your way.

The game is no longer available to play on Cartoon Network's website, but has been archived by BlueMaxima's Flashpoint, a Web Game preservation project.

This game provides examples of:

  • All-Natural Gem Polish: The diamonds in this game are the classic cartoon "bright blue, brilliant cut" variety.
  • Bat Out of Hell: Bats appear in the underground areas and will attack if disturbed. They can be driven off with the flashlight.
  • Bee Afraid: One area has a beehive with a sign telling you not to disturb it. If you shoot at the beehive with your slingshot, the bees will swarm out and sting you, causing you to lose all your health and energy instantly and be returned to the starting area.
  • Big Eater: If you give a bulb of garlic to the pirate with the pizza, he will swallow his entire pizza in a single bite.
  • Death Is Cheap: Losing all of your health sends you back to the game's starting area.
  • The Dividual: Ami and Yumi are treated as a single character for the purpose of gameplay.
  • Food as Bribe: Overlapping with "Begone" Bribe. To get past the pirate with the pizza, you need to throw a garlic bulb at him. He will use it to top his pizza, eat it, and then leave.
  • Ghost Pirate: Both skeletal and living pirates appear as enemies. They can be knocked out with the slingshot, while the skeleton pirate captain needs to be tripped up with a banana peel.
  • Gotta Catch 'Em All: The objective of the game is to find all 250 gold coins and all 100 diamonds.
  • Hearts Are Health: Pink hearts restore all your health.
  • Hyperactive Metabolism: Green candies restore all your energy.
  • Loony Fan: Harmony appears as an enemy, and will drain your health by licking you. She can be shaken off by jumping.
  • Maniac Monkeys: Two kinds of monkeys appear as enemies. One looks like a typical cartoon monkey, and can be shaken off by spinning. The other looks like a mandrill, and can be distracted by throwing a banana near him.
  • Notice This:
    • Some of the trees are brown instead of green; you can play the guitar near them to shake coins out of them.
    • Rocks with blue sparkles can be broken open via guitar-playing to get diamonds.
  • NPC Roadblock:
    • One of the obstacles is a bearded, eyepatch-wearing pirate carrying a whole pizza. He will only move out of your way if you give him some garlic to put on his pizza; he will shove the entire garlic-topped pizza in his mouth and then leave, satisfied.
    • In one area, a group of three paparazzi are blocking a pathway. They will leave if you give them an autograph.
  • The Power of Rock: The electric guitar is used to shatter boulders and shake coins from brown trees.
  • Press X to Die: You can kill yourself by using certain items near signs that tell you not to use those items in that area.
  • Schmuck Bait: There are various signs that tell you not to use certain items in certain areas if you read them. If you use said item in that area, you will immediately die.
    • Disobeying the "Tribal lands: Mind your manners!" sign and eating garlic will get you attacked by a group of monkey-like creatures with garlic bulbs for heads.
    • Disobeying the "Sleeping lion zone: Lion may be angry if woken!" sign and playing the guitar causes the lion to wake up and attack you.
    • Disobeying the "Falling rock zone: Avoid loud noises!" sign and playing the guitar causes rocks to fall on you.
    • Disobeying the "No littering: Strictly enforced!" sign and throwing an autograph will cause a police officer to arrest you.
    • Disobeying the "Danger! Do not summon the Mega-Monkey!" sign and throwing a banana will cause the Mega-Monkey to grab you in one hand and presumably eat you.
    • Disobeying the "Warning: Bees may swarm if disturbed!" sign and firing with the slingshot at the beehive will cause the bees to come out and sting you.
  • Stock Animal Diet: The banana is used to distract the mandrills.
  • Vacation Episode: Ami and Yumi are on vacation to an island, and Kaz has sent them out to search for treasure.
  • Vampires Hate Garlic: Eating garlic and burping the fumes in a vampire's face will cause him to turn green and fall over.
  • Weakened by the Light: The flashlight is used to ward off bats and rats. Oddly, it doesn't work on the vampires.
  • Would Hit a Girl: The pirates will attack you if you get too close to them. Averted with the pizza-carrying pirate, who simply blocks your way, but does not attack.
  • A Winner Is You: When you find all the treasure, the ending screen gives you the message, "Congratulations! With your help, the girls have found all the treasure! Kaz will be thrilled!"
  • You Dirty Rat!: Black rats appear as enemies in the underground areas, and will bite you if disturbed.
