This haywire hospital contains these Tropes:
- Animal Stereotype: Appeared throughtoutly the game, and is often parodied. For example: the Kangaroo (Pack Animal) loves shopping with bags/pocket, and the Tom Cat (Dot Destroyer) turns off the tablet's red dots as a real cat would do with a laser pointer.
- Creator Cameo:As patients. There is even a separated area for them.
- The Ditherer: The patient Teetering Tom has difficult making choice.
- Shout-Out: The Dirt Devourer patient, whose head resembles a moon, gets missile fly on to his head. It looks like the screen in A Trip to the Moon.
