Rather than a single overarching plot, the game has six normal levels that each are styled like episodes from the show, and each have their own individual stories. The two bonus levels are based off concepts from the episodes "Dawn of the Eds" and "The Day the Ed Stood Still". True to the show, there are no new characters to be found in the game (most of the enemies are animals).

The levels are:
* "Cool Yer Ed": For their latest scam, the Eds aim to steal ice cubes from the kids' coolers and make snow cones to sell.
* "Pin the Tail on the Ed": The Eds are not allowed to attend Jimmy's backyard birthday party, so Eddy decides to lead them through the sewers and sneak in anyway.
* "Must Be Something I Ed": The jawbreaker store is giving out free jawbreakers for "Customer Appreciation Day", so the Eds venture to the store to take advantage of the deal.
* "Ed on Arrival": The Eds are challenged by Rolf to traverse his construction site obstacle course, upon which he will reward them with the Urban Ranger badge.
* "Nightmare on Ed Street": The Eds agree to venture into a spooky, abandoned house and get Jimmy his stuffed rabbit, Mr. Yum Yum, back. Unfortunately, the Kanker Sisters have gotten ahold of it and will only let it go in exchange for "good boyfriend presents" around the house.
* "Ed Marks the Spot": Eddy wants to share his secret stash of jawbreakers with Edd and Ed, but finds it has been stolen and replaced with a piece of a map. So they set out to find the other pieces, which will hopefully lead them to the stash.
* "Revenge of Ed-zilla": Eddy recreates Edtropolis, but Ed once again believes he is a monster, the titular [[{{Notzilla}} Ed-zilla]], and goes on a rampage throughout the "city", and comes into conflict with the Kankerator, a Ghidorah {{expy}} made of the Kanker Sisters.
* "Robot Rebel Ranch": The Eds imagine themselves as space farers stuck on a robot planet. Ed gets captured by the robot rebels, so Edd and Eddy must save him from their clutches.

* BigBoosHaunt: Level 5, "Nightmare On Ed street," is as close as you can get.

to:

* BigBad: Due to the episodic nature of the story, the levels that have clear-cut antagonists have different ones:
** BigBadDuumvirate: The Kanker Sisters are the main recurring antagonists who, as in the show, desire to make the Eds theirs, and are responsible for the conflicts of three of the levels. In "Nightmare On Ed Street", they hold Jimmy's toy rabbit, Mr. Yum Yum, hostage in exchange for presents around the HauntedHouse; in "Ed Marks the Spot", they steal Eddy’s secret stash of jawbreakers to lure the Eds to them; and in "Revenge of Ed-zilla", they attempt to destroy Edtropolis.
** In "Robot Rebel Ranch", the unnamed leader of the titular robot rebels orders Ed captured and tries to kill the trio.
* BigBoosHaunt: Level 5, "Nightmare On Ed street," Street", is as close as you can get.get. It takes place in a pseudo-HauntedHouse which the Eds must navigate to find items, and while there are no actual ghosts, the atmosphere is still dark and spooky.
