After Terrence locks Mac up in the closet long enough for him to adopt out Bloo and arriving too late to save Bloo, Mac deduces that Terrence is too stupid to come up with a plan this complex, therefore, Terrence must be receiving instructions from someone who wants to get rid of Bloo.
