Hi. I have been a quiet troper for several years at the time of this writing. My handle seems uncreative but I do wear glasses, my name really is Megan, and my personality even fits the trope rather well. I'm a closet geek, so I mostly read webcomics and surf this site. I'm just starting to get into anime (curse you, TV Tropes as a Gateway Drug!!)
I fit the tropes of
- Absent-Minded Professor (While I am too young to be a professor, several people have compared me to this in real life. My grandfather is the real deal, though he's retired now.)
- Meganekko
- Spoiler Hound (Fortunately my bad memory sometimes bails me out. Still, I knew about every single CMoA or plot point in Death Note a very long time before I watched it.)
Favorite things include:
Dungeons and Dragons. Though I have no group, own only the 4e handbook, and have only played twice I know enough that I could probably DM easily (for 4e, the Wot C website is a Dming gold mine. Also scanned 3.5 reference doc.). Kinda sad, really. Oh, and a website relating to Gming tabletop RPGs is what first introduced me to TV Tropes
Genius The Transgression Same story; seems cool, read sourcebook, never played.
- Drowtales
- Girl Genius
- Goblins
- Gunnerkrigg Court
- Homestuck (<3)
- Order of the Stick
- Schlock Mercenary
- Sluggy Freelance
- Today Nothing Happened
- Xkcd

Anime/Manga
Other
- Dr Horribles Sing Along Blog
- SCP Foundation (which I also found through a Gming article)
- Yugioh The Abridged Series

Current games- Little Big Planet
- Plants vs Zombies
- Trauma Center: Second Opinion
The real trope is Meganekko. The name has nothing to do with mega neko at all.
