A forty+ year-old aspiring writer, Grey Paladin is virtually addicted to this site. He finds himself thinking of which tropes to use while working on his various projects— then muttering under his breath that he should stop thinking in tropes....
He is immensely proud that his suggestion for renaming the "Grissom One-Liner" to "Quip to Black" actually won in a crowner, to the point where he emailed friends about it when it happened.
He regularly does battle with his internal Spelling/Grammar Nazi while reminding himself that he shouldn't put "because the last editor wouldn't know a dictionary if it bit him/her on the neck!" in for "edit reason." (It's terribly impolite, regardless of the truth or lack thereof of the proposition!)
