I've been online since the days of Compu#erve, Prodigy, and GEnie; the "djonn" handle dates from GEnie, where there were entirely too many people with my real first name and last initial to tell us apart. My geekish interests range from animation (mostly Western) to the full range of Star Trek subcultures to TV sleuths to fanfiction to Sherlock Holmes to Narbonic and beyond. Also, at least one of my two and a half careers to date has taken me into the allied worlds of computer wizardry and desktop publishing.
Here on this wiki, I anticipate hanging out mostly on the fringes (particularly looking for places to add fanfic recs), but we'll see where the cyberspatial winds take me.
