Enjoys VirtualOn and it's OST. In fact, at the time of writing this, she's listening to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS9HE4VJCVM Sweet Tragedy of Dreams]] from Oratorio Tangram. No I do not have odd taste in music, stop looking at me like that!

Tropes in This Troper's my life:

* GodwinsLaw: I went with AlsoArin for a while, but then decided that I wouldn't let [[Godwin'sLaw Godwin]] keep me from a perfectly good username that I use most everywhere else.

Tropes present in Lost Worlds, my current video game project:
* AbnormalAmmo: With special injection ammo, a gun can be made to fire any chemical a player can produce in significant amounts. Also applies to the other kinds of alternate ammo.
* AlternativeCalendar: The Recorded History, or RH, calendar, developed by [[NoNameGiven The Unnamed Country]], which uses the calendar's creation itself as the reference point.
* ConstructedWorld: Especially the alternate chemistry.
* CoolAirship: The whole premise of the game.
* CrateExpectations: Used to store and transport items in bulk, like, well, crates.
* ElementsDoNotWorkThatWay (Elements Do Not Work That Way): They do now.
* ExplosiveInstrumentation: Being steam powered, machinery will actually do this if pressurized beyond the limit.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Any hair, eye and even skin color is a viable choice for a PC.
* GratuitousLatin: Arca Prima, the place orders from higher up come from, and Arca Decima, the ship portrayed in the game.
* HollywoodAcid: It's fairly easy to make corrosive chemicals that will damage things and players they come into contact with.
* ItemCrafting: What the Mechanics skill is for when it's not used for making alterations to the ship layout itself.
* KarmaMeter: The Honor gauge. You can certainly be evil and keep this high, getting the bonuses it offers in return, but you'll have to play fair in your quest for injustice.
* LightningCanDoAnything: It adds a lot of energy to a chemical mixture, which might lead to interesting results.
* LizardFolk: The lizards have characteristics of this, though they are only cognizant of their immediate surroundings at best.
* MagicMeteor: They sometimes contain exotic elements, which are the true source of any unusual effects.
* SchizoTech: Rampant in the second and first versions, to the point that it wasn't really steampunk enough, and still hiding in places in Third Edition.
* SkyPirate: Planned feature.
* StartMyOwn: It began as this to SpaceStation13.
* SteamPunk: Third Edition is more so than other versions, but all of them have this as a theme.
* TechnicolorScience: Colorful chemicals are interesting, easy to differentiate, and lend a mad science feel to the game.
* TheSkyIsAnOcean: Given the aesthetic of the game, practically required.
* ToxicPhlebotinum: A vast majority of the phlebotinum, in fact.
* UniversalUniverseTime: Partially Averted: Rakko IV uses a 24-hour day, but there are only 40 minutes in an hour [[ThrowItIn due to me messing up the clock graphics,]] and therefore, a Rakkonian minute is exactly 1.5 Earth seconds, using the scaled time of the game. Also averted by the in-universe calendar.
* WorldOfBadass: The most effective thing you can do with your Leadership skill? [[DueltotheDeath Challenge people to a duel.]]
* ZeppelinsFromAnotherWorld: Obviously.

* HetIsEw: Yeah, I'll admit that being a YuriFan tends to make you forget that most "ideal romances" tend to include someone of the male persuasion.
* YuriFan: As described above.
* {{UST}}: Lots, although...
* CanNotSpitItOut: Averted, helping the UST above.
* PsychoLesbian: Sometimes.

* HatesBeingTouched: Inverted, contrary to lots of people I know.

* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: At least once, hopefully more, because I'm still dangerously close to it.
