• Creator Backlash: Lee Esposito does not look back fondly on this series or The Slender Man Mythos as a whole, due to the fandom's toxicity and negative reputation, as well as it reminding him of people and periods in his life that he doesn't care to remember or talk about anymore. This ultimately lead to Lee ending this series prematurely due to his dissatisfaction with everything surrounding it.
  • Lee did take part in the June 2023 "Slender For Gender" charity livestream, during which stated that he would finish the series if, and only if, the fundraiser reached one of its stretch goals; the goal was reached, but it remains to be seen whether he'll continue the series.
• Deleted Scene: One scrapped crossover would've consisted of Lee having his stuff stolen from an on-the-run Chris and Alex of Dark Harvest, which got cut due to OOG Chris finding it made the protagonists far too unsympathetic for his liking. Said scene can be viewed here, with the creators involved talking about the possibility of reimplementing it into their respective series somehow.
• Orphaned Series: Lee has since confirmed that he has zero interest in returning to or completing this series, due to his aforementioned distaste for the Slenderverse as a whole, as well as devoting time to focusing on his pet project Lilith, as well as creating more of his own horror films.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The series' end as a whole could be seen as this. While there was a proper conclusion planned for the most part, it will never come to fruition given OOG Lee's lack of interest.
  • At some point, Lee was going to phone back Stan Frederick after missing his call in "Unsatisfied Customers" for information on The Speaker, only for Stan to brush him off due to not helping him previously. This ultimately didn't happen due to Lee rewriting the ending for the series before giving up on it altogether.
