• Banned in China: Due to the game's focus on Joy and allowing the player to take it as a means to blend in, the game was banned in Australia for depictions of drug use and addiction. This ban was overturned in July of 2018 - after all, drugs aren't exactly being portrayed in a positive light - and the game was released with an R18+ rating.
• Fake Brit: Notably averted. The developers originally wanted Canadian actors who put on British accents^note Compulsion Games is located in Canada, and the project started out as an indie game with a limited budget, but after reviewing the voices provided, they noticed the actors couldn't put on a convincing accent and performance at the same time. This led them to recast every character, this time with voice-appropriate actors.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: Kickstarter backers are listed in a file compiling suspected Downers.
• What Could Have Been: Audio exists in the game's files for an unused Uncle Jack show titled "Great British Victories" in which he would describe a famous historical battle won by England.
