  • Troubled Production: The Saturn port had to be made without the original source code. The devs were only provided an arcade cabinet for reference and had to more or less eyeball everything. They also didn't have a Saturn dev kit initially — Time Warner Interactive had to send one of their employees over to Sega of America's office every night to work with their dev kit. Even when a dev kit was acquired, it didn't have proper debugging tools, so a separate computer had to be jury-rigged to the kit's motherboard every time debugging needed to be done.

General trivia
  • The original game technically runs at 60 frames per second, it's just the polygons that move at 30. This is most evident with the "V.R." shutters during the Attract Mode and the way the skybox scrolls, especially during the victory cutscene when the camera pivots around the area.
