- California Doubling: After Season 1, the filming was moved to Canada, Season 2 was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, and Seasons 3-4 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Hostility on the Set: Jeff Kaake, who played Cole in Seasons 2-3, did not get along well with his co-stars, Joe Nipote (Waters) and (especially) Heather Medway (Westlake). The fact that Medway was dating one of the show's producers, Danny Bilson, coupled with the fact that both of the producers, Paul DeMeo and Bilson, prefered to have James McCaffrey, who played Season 1 protagonist Joe Astor, to come back, led to Kaake being removed after Season 3. This was explained in-universe as Cole (and briefly, Westlake) being removed from the team for blowing up the Viper after the Season 3 Cliffhanger ending. Given the cast's aforementioned problems with Kaake, it could be possible that Cole was actually Put on a Bus to Hell.
- Prop Recycling: One episode features the same first generation red Chevrolet Corvette that was seen in an episode of The X-Files.
