Trivia / VeggieTales Episode 14 Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen

• Creator's Pest: While the rest of the staff didn't hate Esther, the animators wound up finding her a nightmare to work with due to her hair physics almost never reacting the way they wanted it to. It's telling that she was quickly retired after this one episode.
• Non-Singing Voice: Esther is voiced by Jessica Kaplan, while her singing voice is provided by Pamela Thomas.
• Troubled Production: Towards the end of the show's production, there was a server crash at Big Idea leading to two weeks worth of work on the show being lost. Most of the animators were forced to work overtime, up to and including sleeping at the studio, to make up for it.
• What Could Have Been:
  • There was originally going to be a countertop sequence that was left on the cutting room floor due to time restraints.
  • Archibald Asparagus was originally cast as the pageant host^note As evidenced by the storyboards before being replaced by Scallion #1.
