Trivia / Tyler Breeze

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: He actually preferred his first Tyler Breeze theme before the "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune, and was "heartbroken" when they had to replace it, since it was a royalty free production theme.
  • Irony as She Is Cast: He says he was a casual dresser who wore mainly sweat pants and baggy clothes, meaning he had no knowledge of fashion at the time he adopted a vain model character.
  • Real Life Writes the Plot:
    • His somewhat rushed debut might have been a case of this. After Rusev and Lana got engaged in Real Life, which torpedoed their respective onscreen pairings with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae and basically forced WWE to scrap the whole angle, the latter two were left without an opponent and love interest. Breeze was available, and the powers that be probably decided that five years in developmental was long enough.
    • His time in the doghouse was a result of misunderstanding. As revealed by Ryback on his podcast, at the Tribute to the Troops show, Breeze was not booked in any match, and the office gave him a permission to leave early to get to the next town, but at the end of the night the card had to be changed because one guy was hurt and sought Breeze to replace him, but Breeze was nowhere to be found and was thrown under the bus because of that.
  • Wag the Director: He wasn't wild about the initial lyrics for his "Mmmgorgeous" entrance theme, and asked to rewrite them to include more of his signature bits.
  • What Could Have Been: Tyler Breeze was one of three different characters he had envisioned. One was a snowboarder called Kale Cove, and another was a darker side of his initial Mike Dalton persona suffering Sanity Slippage.
