Trivia / Trace Adkins

Go To

  • Bury Your Art: He withdrew his 2011 single "Brown Chicken Brown Cow" only nine weeks after release due to negative listener feedback, and later apologized for releasing it.
  • Chart Displacement: On the country charts, he has four #1 hits, none of which is "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk". This is also true on the Hot 100, where his highest peak belongs to "You're Gonna Miss This".
  • Distanced from Current Events: He withdrew his 2005 single "Arlington" because fans felt that its lyrics about dead soldiers were too close to home.
  • Missing Episode:
    • Subverted with "Ala-Freakin'-Bama". It was released when he was still on Capitol, and even though he exited the label during its chart run, the song still ended up on his first Show Dog album anyway.
    • The 2012 single "Them Lips (On Mine)" was never put on an album.
