- 2006 marked the 35th anniversary of Kamen Rider and the 30th anniversary of Super Sentai.
- 2011 marked the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider and the 35th anniversary of Super Sentai.
- 2016 marked the 45th anniversary of Kamen Rider and the 40th anniversary of Super Sentai. This time round, Toei officially designated the combined anniversaries as Super Hero Year.
- 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider and the 45th anniversary of Super Sentai.
