- Missing Episode: This episode, as well as "Daisy" were never broadcast on Shining Time Station, neither during the Ringo Starr era nor the George Carlin era, due to series creator Rick Sigglekow viewing Daisy as a female stereotype. Carlin's narrations of these episodes, however, have been released commercially on the Daisy and Other Thomas Stories VHS tape in 1993, which was re-issued on DVD in 2008 under the title Percy Takes the Plunge. The Daisy episodes wouldn't be seen on TV until 1998 when Mister Moose's Fun Time aired them.
- Recycled Set: The overpass where Percy sees the "All Trains Must Stop to Pin Down Brakes" sign is the same set used in "Thomas and Trevor" when Thomas is saying goodbye to Trevor, but with rails and ballast placed over the road.
