• Serendipity Writes the Plot: Eugene Chadbourne had asked to borrow an amp from Flansburgh when his own had broken during a show, so Flansburgh called in a favor from Chadbourne and had him appear on "Absolutely Bill's Mood." As for the solo itself, Chadbourne played quietly on acoustic guitar because he was recording straight to the studio answering machine from home, and his children had just gone to bed.
