- Hostility on the Set: Thea Vidale and Brandy (more specifically, Brandy's mother/manager) did not have the best working relationship during production; Brandy was a relatively new actress and sometimes flubbed her lines which earned ire from Thea, and Thea also did not want Brandy to sing at all on the show or on the set which led to Thea and Brandy's mother facing off. Thea also admitted that she tended to rule the show with an iron fist. Thankfully, Thea and Brandy's relationship improved over the years, enough for Thea to show support for Brandy's music.
