• Deleted Scenes: Originally the episode included several flashback scenes with Bill Mulder and the Smoking Man arguing about whether to collaborate with the Colonists. Unfortunately, the de-aging makeup provided to William B. Davis and Peter Donat proved unconvincing, and so the showrunners decided to use only a few wordless fragments of what they shot.
