• Prop Recycling: In the final scene, the giants wear the uniforms from Forbidden Planet.
• You Look Familiar: Both lead actors had previously appeared in first season episodes: Joe Maross in "Third from the Sun", and Claude Akins in "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street". Averted with the two actors playing the giants- both only appeared in the series for this episode. Michael Ford was a bit actor who had extremely minor parts in other series like Rawhide, while Richard Eaton has no other known credits.
