- Approval of God: Simpsons writer and current showrunner Matt Selman has given his approval to TheRealJims' channel, and also provided some of his own picks for "20 Hidden Gems from Modern Simpsons".
- Meaningful Release Date:
- The Simpsons Histories episode on Mona Simpson was released on Mother's Day 2020, while the Simpsons Mysteries episode on Abe Simpson's past was released a few days after Father's Day in the same year.
- "Simpsons Comics - The Secret Simpsons Universe" was uploaded on Free Comic Book Day. Jims admits in the comments that this was actually a complete coincidence; he intended to upload it earlier, but technical issues delayed it to Saturday.
- While also not intentional, some fans noticed with good humor that the Histories video for Lindsey Naegle was released on International Women's Day.
- Milestone Celebration: Downplayed in his Simpsons Histories episode on Kent Brockman, released March 2, 2022:TheRealJims: In Season 18, Kent gets his very first spotlight episode, which doubles as the season finale and Episode #400. Well, that's a weird choice for a milestone.
(As he says this, the screen shows the YouTube page for his "60 Second Simpsons" video about "There's No Disgrace Like Home", with an arrow pointing at the publishing date.)
