• Blooper: When Belos sees Hunter's palisman Flapjack, he screams out: "CALEB!?!", implying this was the name of his dead brother who formerly owned the palisman. However, the captions mistakenly read: "Kill him!"
• What Could Have Been:
  • According to Word of God, Belos was originally planned to splatter right above the kids, and while most of them would dodge, Hunter would have been too weak to move out of the way in time and would've gotten covered in "Belos chunks".
  • There were also plans for Hunter to burst into tears during the scene where all the kids tell the Collector how much they love playing "Owl House".
    Emmy Cicirega: I also remember pushing for Hunter to just start sobbing after all the kids talk about how they play The Owl House. "I play it every day!" "I.... *sobs*"
    Emmy Cicirega: why do we love tormenting hunter? I guess it's just super easy??
  • Storyboards also show that in the midst of the Hexsquad's battle with Belos, Luz, and Amity would have had a brief moment where they smiled and blushed at each other in the middle of the fight. While a sweet moment, this was likely removed for not fitting in, being placed in a tense scene where they were fighting for their lives from an Ax-Crazy fantastic racist madman trying to stop a genocide.
