Trivia / The Owl House S1E16 "Enchanting Grom Fright"

• Creator's Favorite Episode: Sam Bosnam (a background layout artist for this show) and Catherine Harman (story artist) have stated that this is their favorite episode by far. Outside of them, much of the crew spent the week prior to its release hyping this episode way more than they did with any others.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Apparently, in the episode's early stages, the titular event would still have been referred to as prom, only it would be an acronym that meant Perennial Ritual Offering Maiden.
  • After Grometheus reads Amity's mind to transform into in her worst fear, it was supposed to transform into a form that looks like Luz but they changed it so it would look too vague for Luz to recognize, but obvious for those who know who it's supposed to be.
  • There was supposed to be an image during the photo montage where it would be revealed that Luz did decide to wear her otter costume towards the end of Grom with Amity gazing at her longingly from behind the stage curtain. Word of God is that this did get Luz kicked out of Grom.
• Word of God: According to Dana Terrace the reason Edric and Emira didn't have dates is because they got stood up.
