- Troubled Production:
- Production of Season 1 was interrupted by several months in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. When it resumed, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with lymphoma and he had to take time off for treatment. The show tried to stay in production by shooting scenes that didn't feature Bridges, but ultimately had to be put on hold until 2022, when the star felt healthy enough to return.
- Season 2, meanwhile, was interrupted by the Writers' Guild of America strike in 2023.
