Trivia / The Odd Angry Shot

• Backed by the Pentagon: The Australian Defence Force gave the filmmakers their full co-operation, providing them with locations and equipment. Most notably, the Bell UH-1 helicopters seen in the film were from the 9 Squadron, RAAF, and had all served in combat in Vietnam.
• California Doubling: The scenes in Vietnam are actually shot at the Australian Army's Jungle Warfare Training Centre in Canungra, Queensland and at the Malarbar rifle range in Malarbar, New South Wales.
