• God Never Said That: The scene where the 2007 Critic complains about the clipless review of Hocus Pocus, and the current Critic retorts by discussing the evolution of film criticism over the decades, was interpreted by some fans as an indication that the show would soon switch to doing purely clipless reviews. Doug quickly clarified that this wasn't the case, as the time demands of producing such reviews would mean that he would at best only be able to produce one review a month in this format, which wouldn't be commercially viable.
