Trivia / The Nightmare of Druaga: Fushigino Dungeon

• Development Gag: The image used for the New Game icon is a picture of a cartoonish Gil looking at the Tower of Druaga. This image is a concept mockup of the original The Tower of Druaga and was previously featured in the virtual museum of Namco Museum Vol. 3.
• Word of God: The game is written as a potential sequel scenario in tandem with The Blue Crystal Rod, a text adventure game that itself has many Multiple Endings, none of them considered the "correct" ending. Series creator Masanobu Endou had no input on The Nightmare of Druaga during development and states that he does not consider the game to be in canon with the previous games.
