- Bad Export for You: All the cutscenes have been removed from the English version except the intro cutscene, reducing a subpar Mega Man rip-off with decent Ninja Gaiden cinematic to just a subpar rip-off. Also, it's missing the Continue feature and two hidden playable characters.

. - Stillborn Franchise: There's a rumor that Vic Tokai had plans for a sequel, but they were cut short as the SNES developer kit was too expensive.
- What Could Have Been: According to The Other Wiki, this was originally planned as a The Wonderful Wizard of Oz video game (this is probably why Francesca/Doropie vaguely resembles Glinda on the American box, along with the basic plot of a young woman being summoned to fight an evil witch.) There were also more plans with the spells to make them more useful, as well as plans for a sequel.
