• What Could Have Been: The game was originally announced under the title "Project BBQ" and was intended to be a 3D take on Dungeon Fighter Online, with the game receiving two trailers. The rise of the Souls-like RPG genre convinced Nexon and NeoPle to scrap work on "Project BBQ" and retool the existing progress into what would become The First Berserker.
• Working Title: Originally known as "Project AK", which was given after it was announced that the game would continue production under this title following the discontinuation of "Project BBQ".
