• Divorced Installment: According to Isaac Asimov, he was originally commissioned to write the story as part of an anthology that was scheduled to be released in 1976 as part of the celebration of the United States of America's 200th — bicentennial — anniversary. Each story in the planned anthology would somehow revolve around the phrase "Bicentennial Man". The anthology was cancelled with only Asimov's story finished, so he sold it to Stellar magazine with minor changes.
