- Amateur Cast: At the beginning of Ten Candles. Zac Eubank was still relatively new to being a Game Master, there might have been at least one recorded test play of the tabletop system before this series started, and even the more experienced tabletop players (Kate Elliott in particular) was new to this game type. By the end of the series, everyone were seasoned vets of Ten Candles; the series, as well as the tabletop system.
- Playing Against Type: Mike Ginn's most well known role is playing Gem, a hyperactive Heroic Comedic Sociopath who's also the Gold Ranger in PowerRangersRPM. In Ten Candles, Mike has gone to show different shades of his whole acting repertoire, from tough guys to meek men.
