Trivia / Ted: För kärlekens skull

Go To

  • Ability over Appearance: On the one hand, Ted's actor Adam Pålsson has an uncanny resemblance to the real-life Ted, but they still had one noticeable difference: while the real-life Ted Gärdestad was left-handed, Pålsson is right-handed. However, the filmmakers decided to allow Pålsson to play Ted as right-handed anyway so that he could play his instruments himself.
  • California Doubling: Tanumshede, Sweden is used to depict Oregon, United States.
  • The Cast Showoff: All the songs played by Ted are actually played by his actor Adam Pålsson. In fact, this led to a bit of a mix of Artistic License, as the real-life Ted Gärdestad was left-handed but Pålsson is right-handed, but the filmmakers decided to allow Pålsson to play Ted as right-handed so that he could play his instruments himself.
  • Separated-at-Birth Casting: Out of the actors who played the members of ABBA, Edvin Bredefeldt (who played Benny Andersson) and Angelina Håkansson (who played Anni-Frid Lyngstad) looked so uncannily similar to them that they could pass as their children.
