• The town of Takehara is benefiting greatly from being depicted in Tamayura, seeing how it caused a major influx of tourists that is still going strong years after the series officially ended. Many shops advertise with posters of the show and sell Tamayura-related merchandise, and even the ferries at one point sported portraits of the four main girls. Momoneko-sama has been appointed as the town's guardian spirit, with his own annual festival that draws big group of fans to worship him at the shopping mall near the station.
• Anime First: A manga adaptation was released in October 2010 and depicts the events in the OVA.
• No Dub for You: Nozomi Entertainment's North American release of the series contains only the Japanese-language track.
• Studio Hop: The OVA was produced by Hal Film Maker. After Hal Film Maker's 2009 merger with Yumeta Company, its successor TYO Animations took over the animation for the TV series, which premiered four years later.
