- Executive Meddling: Phil Jimenez's reason for leaving the title — he was upset that all the stories he'd written would have to be re-written because of the universe-altering effects of Superman Reborn, which heavily alters the history of Lois Lane, to the point that his stories with the character can in no way still be canon. It even changes the source of Lana and Lois' powers, as the red energy has been reintegrated into the pre-Flashpoint Superman.
