  • What Could Have Been: In the comments of the video showing the final boss theme, Ziggity explained that there are several things that were planned but scrapped for one reason or another.
    Yoshi was going to be a power up in one of the levels, a hammer brothers mini boss was planned (I changed that idea in favor of a secret level with bobombs instead), I was going to overhaul the underground level and include pow blocks and spinies, the bowser fight was going to be much more interesting, bowser jr was supposed to be in the game with an airship level, the secret boss was going to be something different from just a harder re-skin of the normal final boss, I had an idea of making the final level switch from 2D gameplay to 3D, there was going to be a toad house with mini games that would sometimes give cryptic hints of some sort, and I was going to include trophies on the title screen for all the achieved endings with a secret if you got them all. These ideas where scrapped for either being too ambitious, not aligning with the games theme as well as I hoped, or I had no time to implement them. These are only things that I can remember, I finished developing the game over 2 years ago (another thing, before I started development I planned the game to have pixelated graphics but I thought that strange looking 3D models fit the theme better and made it look more unique among the hundreds of other horror fan games).
