• Creative Differences: Part of Karen Traviss's departure from the Star Wars franchise stemmed from difficulty over the retcons made to the Mandalorians in The Clone Wars Season 2 as well as her cancelled Boba Fett novel conflicting with Underworld's plans for Boba.
• No Budget: What appears to be the only reason why the show never got off the cutting room floor. Considering it's everything involved in making a Star Wars movie but up to eleven, it was an ambitious project from the moment it was conceived.
