• Creator's Favorite Episode: Matt Surges, the voice of Aree, has stated that "Kowakian Monkey-Lizards" and "Mynocs" are his favorite episodes.
• What Could Have Been: Aree was originally planned to be a pit droid. This was changed to a safari droid, a new droid type created for this series, after it was decided that a pit droid shouldn't be doing a job it wasn't made for. He still retains a lot of design traits as pit droids, however.
