• California Doubling: The episode obviously wasn't filmed in Detroit.
• Creator Backlash: Jeffrey Dean Morgan had such a horrible experience filming that he nearly quit acting afterwards. Mostly because the alien make-up triggered his claustrophobia, but his relationship with the producers apparently wasn't all that hot either. To date he has supposedly never watched the episode, and refuses to discuss it in much detail outside of considering it the low point of his career.
