Dueling Works: The film has an almost identical premise to Very Bad Things, which was released several months later. Both involve a rowdy bachelor party in which the revelers accidentally kill a prostitute and her security guard and then devolve into infighting as some of them try to cover up the crime. Very Bad Things played the scenario for black comedy, received a theatrical release and is much better known.
