Creator Backlash: Albinocorn admitted that Volume I ended up far darker than they intended, necessitating a few changes to the second volume to keep the story from being too depressing. When Volume IV was announced to have a darker tone than the rest of the story in 2020, Albinocorn said it wouldn't be as dark as Volume I to avoid this sort of reaction again.
Creator's Favorite: Albinocorn has said in their postscripts that "The Letter" — Volume III, Chapter 14 — was their favorite chapter to write.
Long-Runners: First released in September 2016, and still going. At the end of Volume III, with the story reaching over four hundred thousand words and more than four years of publication, the story has two more volumes left to go.
