Trivia / Sparklecare (2018)

• Approval of God: The ZCP is very encouraging of fan-characters, and even offers a blank character sheet and some guidelines on how to make an OC ‘fit into’ the Sparklecare universe.
• Decomposite Character: In the original 2016 run of Sparklecare, Dr. Doom was the main antagonist. The majority of his character was split into the two nurses Doom and Mood, and his status as the villain was grafted onto Cuddles.
• Staff-Created Fan Work: There have been a couple “official” A Us which are not canon to the comic, such as the Cometcare AU in which Polly, Barry, Uni, and Doom are a happily polyamorously married family with several kids. While not canon itself, the worldbuilding lore within it applies to the main comic.
• Write What You Know: The comic was inspired by a bad experience in a psychiatric hospital.
