Trivia / South Park S7E12 "All About Mormons"

• Inspiration for the Work: The episode was inspired by Stone and Parker's childhood experiences in Colorado, where Mormon families would move to from neighboring Utah. In particular, the dinner scene was inspired by Trey's first girlfriend in high school, who was a Mormon.
• What Could Have Been: The musical segments are leftovers from what would eventually become The Book of Mormon, as it was Trey and Matt's original idea to just do a musical based on the actual book. They quickly realized that the joke was only really funny for about ten minutes, so they instead made it into a South Park episode.
