• What Could Have Been:
  • A Deleted Scene mentions that Ronald Reagan was the Mayor of San Francisco in 1994 and that he was best known as an actor for playing the first Howard "Mr. C" Cunningham in Happy Days before being replaced by Tom Bosley.
  • In the first draft of the pilot script, Quinn asks a classmate named Stephanie out on a date but she turns him down. While on his Earth, his double touches her on the butt and she slaps Quinn for it the next time that she sees him. He later learns that his double has been married to hers for two years. In the aired version, it is mentioned that Quinn's double is married but his wife isn't identified.
  • Also in the first draft, Michael Dukakis rather than John F. Kennedy was the President in the first parallel universe visited by Quinn. However, Spaceman mentions that he was hoping that Kennedy would run for President again. The Dodgers are also still in Brooklyn in this universe.
  • In this draft, Quinn's double mentions visiting a world where people only wear clothes on weekends and another where Wayne Gretzsky plays center field for the New York Yankees.
  • A deleted scene featured Quinn, Wade, and Arturo visiting a museum in Soviet World, which claims the Soviets were responsible for all inventions.
