• Defictionalization:
  • The medallions that the characters wear to appear human have been made into Pathtags medallions for readers to purchase.
  • There's also Borogove, the Wonderland-inspired card game that a handful of characters play in the comic, now a real deck.
• Genius Bonus: Pretty much all of the mythical creatures have a solid basis in folklore that their roles in the story either underscore or subvert.
• Schedule Slip: The author maintains a fixed schedule of one page a week for the most part, but exceptions have occasionally happened.

The film

• What Could Have Been: Dudley Moore was the original choice to play Zach; he'd was already a part of Edwards' Production Posse.
