• Technology Marches On: The comic has been running since 2008, and as such, some things that are referenced or used in the series have since become outdated or fallen out of style. Some reprints of old strips have attempted to remedy this by tweaking the dialogue to better fit the time of the reprint, such as Leopold’s comment about Blackberrys making his life easier (by which he means it’s easier to kill & eat someone who has their eyes glued to their phone) from a 2010 strip having "Blackberrys" replaced with "Smartphones" when reprinted in 2020.
