- Deleted Scene: After Hitler is scared off by the Stalin mask, the next shot is him lying knocked-out on the floor of the plane. This is such a weird jump-cut that there's almost certainly a scene missing.
- Irony as She Is Cast: The icing on the cake for this cartoon's relentless mockery of Hitler is that his hilarious mock-German ranting was voiced by Mel Blanc, who was Jewish.
- What Could Have Been: The title for this short was originally Gremlins from the Kremlin, but when plans came about for Disney to make their own gremlin shorts, the title was changed to Russian Rhapsody.
