- Died During Production: Co-creator Tibet has passed away in 2010. Similar to Tintin and Alph-Art's, the album has been released in an incomplete state. A reboot entitled The New Adventures of Ric Hochet has been made in 2015 with new writers.
- I Knew It!: Every time a story involves supernatural aspects such as ghosts, werewolves, vampires or aliens, fans will quickly deduce they are fake and serve as a ploy to hide murders.
- Long-Runners: The first appearance of Ric Hochet was in Le Journal de Tintin in 1955 and the first album came in 1964. The series was ongoing until the death of Tibet in 2010 where it came to a halt. The series will reboot in 2015 with different authors.
